IT Europa and hosting conference
IT Europa and Angel Business Communications announced today that they will jointly be staging the first Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-location conference on 23 May 2012 in London. The event, which is being staged in association with the Datacentre Alliance (DCA) will bring together leading hardware and software vendors, hosting providers, telecommunications companies, mobile operators and web services providers involved in the provision of Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-location services with directors and senior executives of major organisations looking to examine new forms of IT provision.
Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-location 2012 is a senior management event designed to help organisations explore alternative mechanisms for delivering IT services to their employees, partners and customers. The conference will feature a range of high-level presentations that will set out to redefine the roles of Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-Location against the backdrop of the adoption of Cloud computing both at a public and private level.
“The mass adoption of ‘Cloud based’ services is dramatically changing the way organisations view the role of traditional outsourcing, hosting and co-location services,” commented John Chapman, content manager for the Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-Location 2012 event. “The competitiveness that Cloud services have brought to this marketplace has rapidly created a commodity environment for traditional hosted storage and server co-location services as well as newer Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) type offerings.”
“New technologies and cloud-based delivery models are revolutionising the IT landscape and fundamentally changing the way in which organisations of all sizes can source IT and Telecoms systems and solutions,” says Alan Norman, Managing Director of IT Europa. “The Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-location conference provides a unique opportunity for customers, vendors and service providers to come together to address the issues and opportunities arising from such fundamental shifts in technology and services provision.”
Running alongside the conference, an exhibition and networking area will facilitate further interaction between delegates and sponsors. Outsourcing, Hosting and Co-location 2012 will take place at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel on 23 May 2012. The event is co-located with the SNIA Europe Datacentre Technologies Academy at the same venue as the Managed Services Convention 2012 which is being staged the previous day.
